The candidates for the fall freshman crew are practicing daily on the river under the coaching of P. D. Rust '98. The candidates are rather heavier than the a verage freshman crew, but very few of the men have shown any marked ability.

G. Smith (7), 156 1bs. From De Lancy School. No experience.

C. Thompson (6), 172 1bs. From Groton. Rowed four years on four-oar crew.

L. G. Coleman (5), 166 1bs. From Smith Academy, St. Louis. No experience.

H. Bigelow (4), 155 1bs. From Milton Academy. No experience.

H. Sampson, Jr., (3), 150 1bs. No experience.

F. R. Swift (2), 150 1bs. From Milton Academy. No experience.

I. H. Derby (bow), 161 1bs. From Colby Academy. No experience.
