The freshmen defeated the juniors for the second time yesterday and by so doing won the class series. The game was similar to the preceding contests in that both teams batted hard but fielded poorly. Perry and Reed started in to pitch but both were compelled to retire, the former on account of wildness and the latter because of an injury. Harris and Adams were substituted. The features of the game were the batting of Phelan, Warren and Stevens, the fielding of Beale and a double play by Warren and Stevens. The game was called at the end of the eighth inning.
