The fifty-second games of the New York Athletic Club will be held at Travers Island, Saturday, June 9, 1894. The following events will be contested: One mile run, 440 yards run, 75 yards dash, 1 mile walk, 2 mile bicycle race (class A), 220 yards hurdle, running high jump,-all handicap; 120 yards run (on turf), 880 yards run, 120 yards hurdle race, pole vault, standing high jump, running broad jump, throwing 16 1b. hammer, putting 16 1b. shot, 1 mile team relay race,- all scratch. Entries close Wednesday, May 30, with John C. Gulick, secretary.
