Harvard, 7; Brown, 4.

The 'varsity nine defeated Brown yesterday afternoon in an exciting game. Cook made his first appearance since the Williams game and strengthened the team materially. The outfield showed up very weak, some of the errors being inexcusable. Brown outfielded Harvard, but her errors were very costly, as every Harvard man who got his base on errors scored a run. Highlands pitched a magnificent game, striking out 16 men and allowing but 4 scattering hits. Corbett made a home run in the second inning with two men on bases. The score:

HARVARD.
