Harvard-Yale Baseball Conference.

The meeting of the Harvard and Yale baseball representatives at Springfield on Monday lasted but an hour and was very satisfactory to each side. Some important changes were decided upon and will be adopted soon. Under the new rules the power of the umpire will be somewhat restricted. Hereafter he will be unable to order a player from the field.

The pitcher's box will be moved four feet further back than it has hitherto been. This will bring the rear of the box sixty feet from the plate.
