The recently organized Intercollegiate Debating Union has elected provisionally the following officers: Carl Vrooman, Harvard, president; W. H. Leete, Yale, first vice-president; G. C. Fox, Princeton, second vice-president; Shepherd Knapp, Jr., Columbia, recording secretary; George D. Codman, U. of P., treasurer.
A convention of delegates from Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia and University of Pennsylvania will meet in New York on April 4 and 5, to effect a a permanent organization. Invitations will then be sent out to all the college debating societies in the country asking them to join the union.
