Address by Henry Irving.

The CRIMSON has been in receipt of a number of communications in regard to the issue of tickets to Sanders Theatre on the occasion of the address by Henry Irving to the students. The address is to be given under the auspices of the Harvard Union. The attention of the officers of this society was, accordingly, called to the matter. The following announcement in regard to it has been prepared and is given below:

"Every attempt will be made to ensure members of the University of admission to Sanders Theatre on the day of the address by Henry Irving. To this end, tickets will be issued. These will be good simply for admission and no seats will be reserved except for members of the faculty. The address will be given on Thursday, March 15. All members of the faculty who desire one or two reserved seats may obtain them by sending an application to S. H. Foster, 37 Thayer, before March 11. On March 12 tickets will be put in Thurston's for distribution. Each student may secure one by signing his name to a promise that he will dispose of it to no one outside the University, or that he will not dispose of it for a consideration under any circumstances. If the entire number of tickets is not taken in the first two days, March 12 and 13, opportunity will be given to students who wish to secure more than the single ticket on March 14. Notice is given thus early that any suggestions in regard to the plan may have full time to be considered. The aim of the union will be simply to accommodate members of the University in the best way possible."
