Eighteen colleges were represented at the annual meeting of the Intercollegiate Association of Amateur Athletes held in New York on Saturday. It was voted to allow a seven-foot run in the hammer throwing, to hold the preliminaries of the field events and the 440 yds. run in the morning, and to adopt new rules to govern bicycle races. The treasurer reported a balance of $15,000 in the treasury. H. M. Wheel-wright was elected president of the association.
