NEW HAVEN, CONN., Dec. 10. - At a meeting of the Yale eleven held this evening, S. Brinckerhoff Thorne '96, of New York City, was elected captain of the team for the coming year. Thorne was fitted for college in New York. He has played on the 'varsity eleven for two years as halfback, and will next year play fullback. He is twenty-three years old, six feet in height, and weighs 175 pounds.
