The 'varsity crew had a four mile spin yesterday, the first the crew has had for over a month. "Pa" Kelton, captain of the '92 'varsity crew, was with Mr. Watson in the launch. Wrightington was out and rowed at No. 5. Chatman who is showing up well was moved up to No. 3. Damon who is a little down in weight was given a rest.
The order of the crew was:
Stroke, Bullard; 7, Fennessy; 6, Watriss; 5, Wrightington; 4, Stillman; 3, Chatman; 2, Shepard; bow, Lewis.
The freshman crew is being coached by D. F. Jones '92 for a few days, while Coach Kidder is in New York. The only change in the order for the last few days is that of Rice to bow in place of McBurney. Rice was a promising candidate in the tank and has rowed before on one of the B. A. A. Junior crews. He was taken on recently to fill one of the places made vacant by the recent epidemic. The order was:
Stroke, Scull; 7, Goodrich; 6, Seaver; 5, Ames; 4, A. H. Rice; 3, Jennings; 2, Hurley; bow, J. C. Rice.
