After the hard work which the backs received in Saturday's football game, they were not allowed to take part in yesterday's practice. Gray and Wrighington went over the signals and C. Brewer tried drop kicking. A. Brewer practiced but a short time at right end. S. F. Eddy '95 came out for the first time this year and played for a while at right guard. Wrenn made some good passes at quarter but as yet shows the lack of practice.
The men were divided into several squads and went over the signals again and again. The two elevens lined up for a few minutes and most of the men seemed to put a great deal of snap into the work. During the latter part of the practice many of the new men were tried on both elevens.
The men lined up first in the following order:
FIRST ELEVEN. SECOND ELEVEN.
Richardson, l.e. r.e., Hewins.
Hallowell, l.t. r.t., Teele.
Manahan, l.g. r.g., Murchie.
F. Shaw, c. c., Hennan.
G. Shaw, r.g. l.g., Steadman.
Gould, r.t. l.t., Holmes.
Hartwell, r.e. l.e., Moulton.
Wrenn, q.b. q.b., Fairchild.
Phelan, Brown, h.b. h.b., Jackson, Hayes.
Dunlop, f.b. f.b., Hamlen.
