The senior crew under the captaincy of F. N. Watriss commenced work yesterday afternoon on a small scale. Only a few men came out - F. Johnson, W. H. Young, J. W. Ganson, and D. Gray, but today almost all the men who rowed in last year's crew, with the exception of D. F. Jones, will begin practice and more new candidates are expected to turn out. The training at first will consist simply of work with dumb-bells, rowing at the weights, and a run. Within a month rowing in the tank will be begun.
