Arrangements for the debate between the University of Pennsylvania and Cornell have nearly been completed. An open meeting will be held soon at the University of Pennsylvania to decide whether the question for debate submitted by Cornell shall be accepted or not, and if it is to be accepted, to decide which side of the question is to be taken. The question is as to the annexation of the Hawanan Islands. A preliminary debate for the selection of the disputants who are to represent Pennsylvania will be held in a few weeks.
