In order that everybody may know of the fund which is being raised as a memorial to Mr. Bolles, the main points of the editorial in yesterday's paper are here repeated. The suggestion is made that it would be exceedingly appropriate for present students and recent graduates of the University to raise a fund, in memory of Mr. Bolles, the proceeds of which should be used in helping needy students. This is the work in which Mr. Bolles took special interest while he was secretary of the University. It is desired that the fund may be created by a very general subscription and every man is asked to give whatever he may see fit. Until some better scheme is proposed the CRIMSON will receive subscriptions. Within a day or two some arrangement will be made for providing a convenient method for the collection of small subscriptions. Checks made payable to the president of the board of editors and sent to 3 Linden street will be promptly acknowledged. Reports on the progress of the fund will be published from time to time. The CRIMSON acknowledges the receipt of twenty-five dollars from "a colleague."
