Ninety-Five Crew.

Nothing very encouraging can be said of the junior crew as the men are rowing at present. They all hang badly and row short, though the men have been working together for a long time and have been on the river over a week.

The crew is rowing as follows:

Bow, D. D. Miller; 2, R. Capen; 3, W. H. MacGuffey; 4, E. B. Lambert; 5, E. H. Pool; 6, R. B. Cook; 7, E. Goodwin; 8, R. Peabody; subs., A. Stevenson, C. S. Pierce.

The individual faults of the men are:

Bow cannot get his oar down and rushes down his slide.

No. 2 is very slow on the catch.

No. 3 is slow with his shoulders and is late at the catch.

No. 4 rows short and is a little careless.

No. 5 does not angle his oar and is slow at the catch.

No. 6 rows a little short.

No. 7 canuot get his oar down to the water and jerks his arms.

Stroke does not get enough body reach and hangs.

C. S. French is managing the crew. The crew is in need of financial support and it is hoped that the class will respond liberally.
