Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
The work yesterday by the candidates for the 'varsity eleven was by far the best and most encouraging that has been done this year. The men played with a snap and earnestness that is entirely new for so early in the season and at times the work was very good.
A regular practice game was played, the two elevens being made up as follows:
FIRST. POSITION. SECOND.
Emmons, left end. Brewer.
Beal, left tackle, Bond.
Warren, left guard, Laimbeer.
Lewis, centre, Grant.
Shea, centre, Grant.
Mackie, right guard, Connor.
Johnson, right tackle, Teele.
Stevenson, r. e. Whittren. Wrightington.
Fairchild, quarter, Gould.
Foster, quarter, Gould.
Gray, half backs, Gleason. Jackson.
Dunlop, half backs, Gleason. Jackson.
Beall, half backs, Gleason. Jackson.
Waters, half backs, Gleason. Jackson.
Brewer, full back, Hoag.
The coaching was done by Porter '88, Saxe '87, Crosby '91, Newell '92, and Newell '94.
Two halves of about twenty minutes each were played and during that time the first eleven kept the ball well into the territory of the second. Three touchdowns were made for the first by Brewer, Dunlop and Stevenson.
The following men have gone to the 'varsity training table: Waters, Lewis, Mackie, Newell, Emmons, Gray, Brewer, Warren, Beal, Johnson, Stevenson, Foster, Gould, Dunlop and Hoag.
