The election for captain of the varsity crew, held after the race at New London, resulted in the choice of Lincoln Davis, '94, of Boston. Davis has rowed but two of the three years he has been in college. In his sophomore year he pulled at No. 3 in his class boat and the same year was substitute on the varsity. This year he rowed No. 4.
The captain of the nine for next year was chosen at a meeting held at the Windsor after the New York game. Benjamin Cook, Jr., L. S., of Fall River, who was chosen, fitted at Exeter. He graduated from college in 1892. He played right field on his class nine in his sophomore year and since then has played third base on the varsity.
