Joseph M Cromwell who was expelled from the Law School last fall was arrested yesterday afternoon on North Avenue for thieving in the Weld Boat house,

A month ago a member of the club missed a gold watch and some money. A week ago a place was fixed in the locker room from which most of the lockers could be watched and here the janitor stationed himself. Yesterday he saw Cromwell take two watches and the arrest was the result. The Captain of Police found these watches in his room and when confronted with them Cromwell confessed his guilt. The hearing will be this morning at 9 o'clock. Men who have lost property at the boathouse will do well to report to the police at Brattle Square.
