The Wendell Phillips Club debate last night was attended by an audience of 40. Eight applicants for membership spoke. The question for the next meeting on March 24 is Resolved That the United States should immediately undertake the building of the Nicaragua Canal. The speakers will be F. C. Thwaits '93, A. W. Newlin '93 and W. C. Stone '94, for the affirmative and A. B. Keeler '94, W. H. Isley '93 and C. H. Alden, Gr., for the negative.
