Cornell to Row the University of Pennsylvania.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Commodore of the Cornell Navy has received an official communication from the rowing committee of the athletic association of the University of Pennsylvania, stating the desire of that university to row with Cornell this summer and asking that the length of the course be changed to four miles. Cornell has agreed to both these propositions, though no date or place for the race has yet been decided on.

By thus adopting the four mile course, Cornell subjects herself to conditions similar to those of any possible competitor. The training of the crew will hereafter be conducted with the four mile race in view, and will necessarily undergo some changes to adapt the present methods to the different requirements.
