At the Pennsylvania meeting last Saturday night, M. F. Sweeney of the Xavier Athletic Club, who broke the world's record for high jumping at the B. A. A. meeting on the 11th. broke his own record by half an inch, clearing the bar at 6 feet 3 inches. Norman Gerlie of the University cleared 6 feet 1 inch, an increase of 7 1-4 inches over his best former jump.
