New Rowing Machines.

There are so many crews training at this season of the year that the old rowing machines in the gymnasium have been found insufficient for all. This has lately caused much inconvenience and to do away with it there have been some new machines placed in the Carey building. These are chiefly for the use of the 'varsity crew.

One is an eight-oared friction machine in which all the oars are connected, so that it can only be used by an entire crew. The other is a single machine with an oar on either side, which will be used for individual coaching.
