Freshman Glee Club.

At the meeting last evening in Lower Dane of the candidates for the 1900 Glee Club, only twenty-nine men presented themselves. The judges had announced, however, that all Freshmen who had tried for the 'Varsity Glee Club would be given a special trial and need not sing that evening. This fact probably accounts for the unusually small number of men who tried.

Those to be taken on for further trial have not yet been decided on.
