At a meeting of the board of trustees of Exeter Academy, the resignation was tendered and accepted, to take effect at the end of this school year, of Dr. Oscar Faulhaber, who will then have completed 20 years of service as in structor and as professor of French and German.

A vacancy in the board of trustees was filled by the election of William P. Chadwick of Exeter. He graduated from the Harvard Law School in 1890, was at once admitted to the New Hampshire bar, and opened a law office last January in Exeter, his native town.
