Dr. Charles F. Heywood died suddenly at his residence in New York on Tuesday.
Dr. Heywood was born in 1823, in Boston. He graduated from Harvard in 1843 and three years later received a diploma from the Harvard Medical School. After three years service in the Massachusetts General Hospital, he went to Paris where he spent five years.
He was one of the medical board of the Equitable Life Insurance Company and practised forty years in New York.
