At the meeting of the Intercollegiate Football Association on Friday night, it was found impossible to transact any business beyond the arrangement for this fall's schedule. To the great dissatisfaction of Princeton and Pennsylvania, Wesleyan stood so firmly with Yale on the undergraduate rule that every ballot taken resulted in a tie, two to two. Pennsylvania proposed in succession the rescinding of the undergraduate rule, the substitution for it of the rules adopted by Harvard and Pennsylvania, and the removal of it from the playing rules; but all these measures were defeated, and the meeting had to adjourn without coming to any agreement.

The colleges were represented as follows: Yale, Capt. F. A. Hinkey, and Manager W. E. Holter; Princeton, Capt. T. G. Trenchard, President J. M. Thompson and Treasurer E. Munn of the football association; Pennsylvanian, Capt. H. A. Mackey and Manager S. B. Newton; Wesleyan, Manager Judd. Captain Gordon of Wesleyan was absent.

Below is the schedule:

Oct. 28, Princeton vs. Wesleyan at Manhattan Field, New York. Referee not selected.

Nov. 4, Princeton vs. University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia. Referee, Dashiel of Lehigh; alternate, Arthur Cumnock of Harvard.

Nov. 4, Yale vs. Wesleyan at New Haven. Referee not selected.

Nov. 11, Yale vs. University of Pennsylvania. Place not selected; either Philadelphia or New York. Referee, W. A. Brooks of Harvard; alternate, Alex. Moffat of Princeton.

Nov. 22, Wesleyan vs. University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia. Referee not selected.

Nov. 30, Yale vs. Princeton at New York. Referee, W. A. Brooks; alternate not selected.
