Below is given a list of the preparatory schools which contributed the largest number of men to '97 and '96 S. at Yale. It will be seen that Andover leads the list with 45 men. Several men were prepared at two different schools. In this case they are counted for both schools. The most frequent combinations were Lawrenceville and St. Paul, Berkeley and Andover, and Cutler's and Andover. The list is as follows:
