Ninety-five went to Boston yesterday afternoon and played a practice game with B. A. A. on Clover Field. B. A. A. were compelled to play substitute ends and thus their line was not as strong as in the ninety-four game. Ninety-five's line played a plucky game, but were unable to hold their heavier opponents, who broke through repeatedly. Cockrell, at left guard, was weak and B. A. A. made most of her gains through him. Hartwell played well and B. A. A. were unable to make any gains around his end. Mills at quarter tackled well. Knapp lost an easy chance to tackle which resulted in a touchdown for B. A. A. In the second half B. A. A. allowed ninety-five to keep the ball whether they made the necessary distance or not and merely lined up for the purpose of giving them practice. Waters, McNear and Anthony did not play in the last half. Under these conditions ninety-five carried the ball over the line twice. Anthony played the best game for B. A. A.
