The first run of the Cycling Association failed to bring out a large number of men. There were only ten who assembled at the start yesterday afternoon and followed the course indicated in the CRIMSON.
In other respects the run was very successful. The roads were in fine condition, and the weather was perfect. Under these circumstances it was expected that a good number would come out. At the first run last year, there were twenty men at the start, and at the second a good many more appeared.
It is hoped that more interest will be taken in the next run, tomorrow. The pace in these runs is not fast, and the routes are attractive.
