JOHN MARSHALL WHITTEMORE JR., '66.
John Marshall Whittemore Jr. '66, died of pneumonia at his home on Follen street Cambridge, Thursday morning. He was ill only a short time, less than a week in all. During the greater part of his life, and until his death, he was in the stationary business in Boston. In the year 1885, however, his business career was interrupted, when he held the office of Secretary of the College. In the spring of 1886, he resigned the position and went back to business. He leaves three children, F. L. Whittemore, graduated in '92, now studying in the Episcopal theological Seminary, J. K. Whittemore '95, and W. Whittemore, now fitting for Harvard.
