The Boston Athletic Association nine this summer will be made up practically of the following men:
Cobb and Upton, catchers; Highlands and Wiggin (and probably O'Connor of Dartmouth), pitchers; Dickinson, first base; Soule, short stop; Cook, third base - all of Harvard - Stearns of Amherst, second base; Corbett of Harvard, in the field; also Farron and probably Swanton of last year's team.
As will be seen most of the players are college men, eight of them are now playing on the Harvard nine. The nine will take quite an extended trip, and many Harvard men will have a chance to see them sometime during the summer. Following are the dates and places where games will be played:
July 2 and 4, Northampton, three games; 9, Milford Athletics; 15 and 16, Brattle-boros at Brattleboro; 18, at Springfield; 19, New Jersey A. C.; 20, Staten Island Cricket Club; 21, New Jersey A. C.; 22, Manhattan A. C.; 23, Asbury Park Athletic Association; 25, Rivertons of Philadelphia; 26, Oxford, Pa.; 27, Athletic Club of Schylkill navy; 28, Taconey, Pa.; 29 and 30, Cape May; Aug. 1 and 2, Alleghany Athletic Association of Pittsburg; 3, open; 4, 5 and 6, Cleveland Athletic Club; 8, 9 and 10, around Detroit; 11, 12 and 13, Detroit A. C.; 15, Buffalo; 16, Rochester; 17, Syracuse.
