Williams, Amherst and Dartmouth formed a New England Intercollegiate Football Association at Greenfield, on Wednesday last, W. A. Allen and C. B. Gordon represented Dartmouth, W. H. Lewis, J. J, Kemmer and G. D. Pratt, Amherst, and Irwin McD. Garfield, Williams. Mr. Garfield presided at the meeting, Kemmer was secretary, and these with C. B. Gordon the treasurer, were elected officers of the new association. This arrangement shuts out the Institute of Technology.
A constitution was adopted, and the rules of the American Intercollegiate Foot Ball Association adopted. Following is the schedule:
Williams and Dartmouth at Hanover, Nov. 5; Dartmouth and Amherst at Amhers, Nov. 12; Amherst and Williams at Williamstown, Nov. 18.
