Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Yale played her first game of the college championship series yesterday afternoon, defeating Princeton 1 to 0 in an exceedingly close contest. It was a pitcher's battle throughout. Young and Bowers were both at their best, and invincible at critical moments. Yale had men on third base five times during the game, but Young's masterly pitching kept the side from scoring except in the fifth inning, when he showed his only weakness by giving Bliss a base on balls. Ramsdell's error advanced the runner to second, Murphy's single brought him to third, and Young forced him home by sending Bowers to first on four poor balls. After that he showed better control of the ball and pitched brilliantly striking out two of Yale's best basmen when every base was occupied. Princeton failed to get a man past first till the fifth, when Ramsdell secured a base on balls, took second on a wild pitch and third on Trenchard's sacrifice. Two weak hits to the in-field retired the side. Ramsdell worked his way to third again in the seventh on a force out and two steals, but Bowers struck the third man out and retired the side. The star play of the game was made in the eight, when, with Brown on second, King hit a long fly to right field. Bliss caught the ball after a sharp run and wheeling quickly threw it to third base ahead of Brown. Captain Murphy's work was nearly perfect in every way. Carter caught a game which Dann or Poole never eclipsed and Capt. Young fielded his position brilliantly.
