The rowing club has arranged with the Boston Athletic Association and the Union Boat Club to hold a race meeting open to members of the three clubs, on the afternoon of Saturday, June 31. in the. The races are for four oared shells, double sculls and singles. Handsome prizes will be given. The Rowing club has obtained two four oared shells, and hopes to enter at least two crews. It has engaged P. J. Donovan as trainer, and he will be at the boathouse every afternoon and part of the mornings. All who wish to enter in the singles or doubles or to try for the four oared crews should speak to him at once. Those who have been members or substitutes on class crews are particularly requested to row.
