The annual athletic games at New Haven were held Thursday afternoon. Considering the bad condition of the track the results were very encouraging. The Yale two mile bicycle record was lowered 17 seconds. In the 100 and 220 yards dash Swayne and Allen came near the college record.

One hundred yard dash, Wager Swayne '95, 10 1-5s.; 220 yards, E. W. Allen '94, 22 4-5s.; 440 yards, G. W. Sanford '94, 53s.; half mile run, W. H. Wright '92, 2m. 11 5s.; mile run, S. Scoville '93, 4m. 42s.; 120 yard hurdle, D. B. Lyman '94, 16 2-5s.; 220 yard hurdle, E. T. Eaton '94, 26s.; mile walk, J. E. Wright '95, 8m. 6s.; running broad jump, J. H. Hammond '92, 20ft. lin.; running high jump, A. G. Dickson, 5 ft. 5 1 2 in.; pole vault, E. G. Hart '94, 10ft. 3in.; putting the shot, D. B. Lyman '94, 39ft.; throwing the hammer, P. S.
