Billionaire Investor Gerald Chan Under Scrutiny for Neglect of Historic Harvard Square Theater
Under the auspices of the Harvard Union a mixed convention will be held in Sanders Theatre next Friday evening to nominate candidates of all parties for the presidency of the United States.
There is to be no political strife; the object of the convention being rather to illustrate the methods pursued in conventions held by the larger parties. A good attendance is expected in view of the unusually great interest expressed everywhere, this year, as to the outcome of the Minneapolis and Chicago conventions. There will be a chairman of the national committee who will make the opening speech; to be followed by the secretary, who will read the call for the convention. The temporary chairman will then be appointed, after which the roll of States will be called and nominations made in order, by the chairmen of the State delegations. Each party will finally nominate a single candidate by balloting in the usual way.
