The college will be glad to hear that Ben J. Worman, '95, whose accident was at first supposed to be fatal, is now out of danger. A letter dated Friday morning, was received Saturday, from his father, Dr. J. H. Worman, and later a telegram, which report his condition as most favorable. His pluck and the strength of his constitution pulled him through.
It is also most satisfactory to learn that the rumors of attempted suicide that have been running wild, are entirely unfounded, and that the shooting was entirely accidental. Worman was examining an old navy revolver, which hung rusting on the wall for years, and which no one supposed to be loaded, when it exploded, and nearly cost him his life.
