The cricket team was defeated by the Brockton eleven, at Brockton, Saturday. The score was Harvard 20, Brockton 70, for 6 wickets. The poor showing of the Harvard eleven is probably accounted for by the fact that Comfort, Lippincott and Garrett, three of the best bats on the team, did not arrive until Harvard's innings was over.

The feature of the game was the excellent bowling of Orton.
