Party Allegiance.

A college conference has been arranged for next Tuesday, which ought to prove one of the most interesting of the whole year. Hon. Henry Cabot Lodge has agreed to talk on "Party Allegiance." The subject is one which is being hotly debated all over the country, and one on which Mr. Lodge is remarkably well fitted to speak. Mr. Lodge's recent political life has been a marked example of allegiance to party. Eight years ago, when so many of the prominent Republicans of Massachusetts left their party to become Independents, Mr. Lodge remained with the Republicans, and has ever since been a staunch advocate of party loyalty. He will be sure to present the subject in its most powerful form. The opportunity offered at the end of the talk for questions upon the subject of discussion will be a capital one for men to clear their minds on one of the most debated subjects of the day.
