The make-up of the Yale base ball nine was decided upon Saturday afternoon, when 16 of the 25 candidates who have been in training during the winter were measured for uniforms. The players who will wear the blue this season are:
Bowers, Ridgeway, Grey and Davis, pitchers; Cole and Jackson, catchers; Carter, first base; Hall or Harvey, second base; Murphy, shortstop; L. Bliss or Norton, third base; and Case, F. Rustin and Howlett, fielders.
These players will go to the training table this week. The team took its first outdoor practice of the season Saturday afternoon.
