As has already been announced, Mr. Lehmann is now on his way across the Atlantic with the purpose of taking charge once more of the Harvard crew. He will arrive in New York on the Teutonic next Wednesday and will probably come directly to Cambridge.
It is unnecessary to speak of Mr. Lehmann's disinterrested labors in the past. His standing in the University as one of its best friends is too firmly established to require mention. He will be warmly welcomed on his return, as one who has earned the esteem and gratitude of all Harvard men and as the rowing instructor whom the whole college wishes to see again at the head of rowing affairs.
We trust that as soon as Mr. Lehmann reaches Cambridge some means will be taken to show him most emphatically the appreciation felt for this addition to his already notable services at Harvard.
