The Crew at Princeton.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Efforts are still being made at Princeton to get up a crew this year. The principal objections are lack of interest and poor accommodations for rowing. However the canal will do for practice for an eight-oared crew, though it was entirely unsuited to a six-oared boat, where the bow oar steers, as the last Princeton crews were. When the crew needs livelier water they can row on the Delaware river which is ten miles distant. A mass meeting will be held within a few weeks to determine the opinion of the college on the matter and to see if enough money can be raised to secure the services of a good coach.
