At a meeting of the A. A. U. in New York last Tuesday the record committee voted to allow the following records: E. B. Bloss 40 yds. in 4 3-4 seconds, at the B A. A. grounds on Feb. 13th; E. B. Bloss 20 yds. in 2 4-5 sec., at Roxbury School games Feb. 22. The record of J. P. Lee of 220 yds. 2 ft. 6 inches hurdle race, at Cambridge, May 22, 1891, was declared the American amateur record.
