Owing to the gaieties attendant upon the several dances at Cornell last week, all of the athletes were given a short vacation with the exception of the crew men. The 'varsity crew promises to be fully equal to last year's crew. The men who are at present rowing on the crew are as follows: Witherbee, 164 lbs.; Marston, 190; Wagner, 195; Barr, 170; Kranz, 178; Hall, 180; Gilson, 156; Root, 174; Baker, Kelley, 165, Baker, 220.
For the freshman crew, there are now about 25 or 30 men hard at work and the ultimate make-up of the crew is as yet a matter of much doubt.
