B. A. A. Entries.

The B. A. A. entries closed yesterday and more Harvard men are entered than in any previous meeting. There are one hundred and thirty-one entries in all and this number will probably be increased to one hundred and fifty by men who failed to hand in their blanks yesterday. It is interesting to note the large number of men in the novice races. In the 40 yards novice there are 35 and in the 440 yards, 22 men are entered.

No banner is offered this year to the club winning the largest number of points as it is contrary to the rules of the A. A. U. to offer prizes of this sort. On account of the costly prizes offered and the small limit in the handicap races, the champions of the different eastern athletic clubs will compete, but the Harvard athletes should make special efforts to carry off the majority of the prizes.
