Notwithstanding the heavy fall of snow last week, the nine is at work on Jarvis. Monday p.m., a number of the men took hold, and with the assistance of several hired men shovelled, raked and rolled the diamond, so that it was in almost perfect condition yesterday.

The work has not greatly changed yet. Batting from the nets and sliding bases is about all that is done at present. The pitchers are hard at work, and preparing for the Easter trip. Highlands, Bates, and Wiggin are pitching every day, and a number of others as well. The first match game will be, a week from Saturday with Andrew Academy.
