Base Ball Notes.

The number of candidates for the 'varsity nine will be cut down today. The reduction will be, for the most part, among the freshmen, and will leave about fifteen newer men, exclusive of those trying for the battery, and the last year's players. The practice will not be materially changed until they can get out-doors. The list of the remaining candidates is as follows: Harding '94, Quigley '94, Lowell '94, Fearing '93, Linfield '94, Whittemore '95, Paine '94, Winsor '93, Dodge '95, Washburn Gr., and Whiting Sp.
