The Yale Union held a competitive debate last Monday evening for the purpose of soliciting two speakers who with one member of the Kent Club will represent the college in the joint debate with Harvard. There were fifteen candidates in all, each being allowed eight minutes for debate. Those selected by the judges are F. E. Donnelly, '93, and E. R. Lamson, '93 The third man will be chosen next Monday by the Kent Club.
The subject debated was: Resolved. That the Freedom of the Railroads should be further limited by National Legislation"
