About thirty men presented themselves at Dane Hall last night in answer to the call for candidates for the 'Varsity Glee Club. There was some very good material from the upper classes and more or less from '96, which sent about a third of the whole number of candidates. Notice is given in another column of a second trial tonight in the same place, at which a chance for accompanists will also be given. It is hoped that a large number of men will take advantage of this last opportunity. A list of the men who tried last night is as follows:
