This year, for the first time, athletic teams from the different classes will compete for the college championship.
For sometime now there has been a football and a base-ball series for the championship, and the new athletic games will be on the same order.
Dr. Frank Wells of Brookline has very generously donated a handsome cup to be competed for by the different class teams. The cup is to be contested for every year, and is to be kept in the college, never becoming the property of a class even if it is won four years in succession.
The events will be the same as in the Mott Haven games with the possible addition of a mile team race.
The games will be held sometime in May, and will perhaps take the place of the annual 'varsity games.
The captains of the different teams will be appointed by the Mott Haven captain, and they with the advice of Mr. Lathrop will select the men for the teams.
